Aspirational, unique, and creative ideas December 12, 2008 Malibu (United States) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Bouquet Chic is based around the concept of the wedding bouquet as a fashion accessory. Each chapter has a theme or concept that is demonstrated through full page photos showing models in wedding gowns with matching boquets or various accessories with matching bouquets. The text and captions support the ideas shown in each photo. The diversity of ideas is amazing, and the styles on each page are very uniqe. It's not the same traditional wedding styles over and over on every page. The book is well produced, it feels like 160 pages of a fashion magazine photo spread with a focus on bouquets.
Visually stunning and great wedding inspiration February 5, 2009 Sharon Naylor (Morristown, NJ United States) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I must have said 'Wow!' twenty times *before* page 20! This book is visually stunning, well-written, and inspiring in a way that few other bridal floral books have achieved. At once modern and fashionable, the looks are achievable no matter where you stand on the Chic Scale. This is THE book you want to buy for the best images to show your own floral designer, and THE book you want to flip through for a boost on days when wedding planning is stressful. It's impossible to be tense when you're looking at vibrant orange bouquets and romantic sage green and white cascades. The text is brilliant, the production quality brilliant, and you'll even find inspiration for your wedding PHOTOS...surely, you'll open this book in front of your photographer and say "I want a shot like THIS!" Bouquet Chic is a must-have!
This Should Be Titled "The Bouquet Bible"!!! March 12, 2009 Liisa Sewell 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is the best bouquet book that I have ever come upon. It has everything - gorgeous photos to enjoy and get inspiration from and instructions to do them yourself. This is a must have for wedding/party planners, their clients, or any flower enthusiast. I think it's pretty enough for permanent residence on my coffee table! Bravo!
Love it April 8, 2009 flowerlover5 (Madison, WI USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Love the book, it is current and has gorgeous bouquets. I am a florist in McFarland WI, and am using the book to show new styles to my brides. Good stuff in here!
AMAZING! January 11, 2010 Christine Ferrer (Seattle, wa United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I believe anyone who picks up this book will be stunned by the beauty and genius behind the authors eye for flowers. The bonus is her descriptions and explanations that make it easy for a creativeless, flower novice to understand her process. I would recommend this book to anyone, not just people interested in wedding flowers.
